definition 1:  unavoidably, regardless of any circumstances or attempts at prevention.
example:  The disease is fatal; inevitably, he will die of it.
example:  If we continue to use water at our current rate, our supply will inevitably run out.

definition 2:  not surprisingly; predictably.
example:  Inevitably, he shows up as soon as I’ve given up waiting!
